“One Thing” marketing…
Apr 14th, 2009 | By Patrysha | Category: MarketingIf you’ve watched the movie City Slickers, you’ll no doubt recall the scene where Jack Palance suggests there is just one thing you need for a happy life or some such nonsense. (I really wasn’t all that fond of the movie…something about guys going to hang out to play with cows and horses that I just do not get, but I digress – as I often do!)
The point is, when you boil down marketing to one thing it really does become quite simple…
When you bring together a wide array of tools and tactics and use them all towards one goal you really can’t go wrong…
That one goal…
To improve the customer experience from first contact to follow up!
An improved customer experience always leads to increased sales.
“It’s simple math!”… as my former manager often said (well not direct manager, but he was involved with the training in the early days of XM105…now I hear he is working in Chilliwack or some such place, I could look it up, but is it really relevant here?)
Even if your marketing budget is a big fat zero, you can apply that to your business and win. Think like your customer and deliver what they are looking for at a price they can afford is really all it takes.

Well written article.
Thank you very much.
