You’d think it would be enough that I’ve been mentioned in the pages of Chatelaine magazine, had clients appear on ESPN, won an award for a trade show display (and that’s just in 2009) but some people need a little more motivation to hit the buy button when it comes to publicity and marketing.

And that’s okay.

I don’t mind sharing what I have, because I’ve heard horror stories of start-ups who have spent thousands of dollars on promises of amazing coverage with nothing to show for it. I want my clients to be as well informed about what I can and cannot provide as possible.  There are plenty of things I can share that make me a good bet for your marketing needs.

I can do it all myself…

Every service I offer at PK Marketing Solutions is one that I have not only studied but have practiced. Web development, brochures, article writing, public relations…and on through the service list. I have done them all.

So in cases where I am hiring for projects on your behalf,  you’ll get better than average results – because I’ve done it, studied it and know what to look for in each element.

Now this is only an advantage for those of you who don’t have hours to spend learning at least the theory behind each element from design to copywriting so that you can spot quality and identify what is most likely to work for your particular needs. If you do, then of course it’s much easier (and less expensive) to do it or manage it yourself.

Lightning Fast Reading Speed

If I had a super power, reading would be it. Sad and slightly odd, perhaps…but as it is the ability to read fast serves me and my clients well.  It’s not speed-reading (frankly those courses freak me out for some reason), but just fast reading with full comprehension. Which means I can read and summarize a 300 page non fiction book in less than a day. I read fiction a lot faster, but I’ve yet to find anyone willing to pay well enough to do that…

In any case, the fast reading speed serves you because you’ll often get relevant information faster through me than you can get to it. Which is great when it comes to research…which you need to do a lot of for effective marketing and promotions!
