I’m up late working on my schedule and plan for next week. I tend to do this on Friday afternoons when everyone seems to be winding down for the week, but my plans were interrupted today. So I decided to come down when the house is quiet to get a jump on next weeks plan.
I have to force myself to plan. It’s not a skill I come by easily. I’d much rather jump in to new ideas with all guns blazing, but I’ve discovered that often costs more in heartache and dollars than it’s worth.
Which goes with the post on Michel Fortin’s blog about how it seems that some marketers are psychics. It’s so true that successful businessmen and savvy marketers conduct viability research after rolling the idea out past mentors and mastermind groups.
Speaking of Masterminds, MomMasterminds - a group I’m proud to say I’m a graduate of is making some changes. The first of which is the name graduate. I believe the agreed upon new term will be Founding Club Member. I don’t think I’ve been a founding part of anything this fantastic before.
Of course, I’m hoping this business is the start of something as fantastic as MomMasterminds.
Which brings me to tonight’s title. I have been working for the past couple of weeks on a video podcast project. I’m just getting ready to shoot the test episodes early next week. I’m not going to bore you to death with the details, but I’m confident the content will be incredibly helpful to small business owners who need marketing information in small bites.
Between this, the Whitecourt Marketplace promotion and my individual client work- this summer is shaping up to be anything but slow!
Just to let you know. I am now taking projects starting August 1st and after.
